Protect your kids from online bullies

According to a recent blurb in the June issue of Parents Magazine, your child is much more likely to be bullied online than approached by an online sexual predator.  According to the article, which cites a report by the Internet Safety Technical Task Force, “Bullies, not sexual predators are the biggest problem for kids on the Web” with “up to 46 percent of minors reporting being bullied online, mostly by a peer they knew” compared with only 13 percent of kids who are approached by a sexual predator.

If you are concerned that your tween/teen is being bullied online but not telling you about it, our PC Monitoring software can help you.  OmniVision Software records every keystroke that occurs on the target computer–so it will record emails, MySpace and Facebook entries, Instant Message (IM) conversations… every key they type and every page they visit will be recorded.  Even if someone is bullying or harassing your child while they text during online video gaming, you will see it.

Plus, OmniVision PC Monitoring Software saves your data for two weeks (you can change settings to make it even longer) and you can print or download monitoring reports and even screen shots.   What better way to prove to the school principal or the bully’s parents that your child has been harrassed?

The OmniVision PC Monitoring Software is unique in that it allows you to access the data online, so you do not have to be on the target computer when you monitor it.  Perfect if you want to monitor what your tween/teen sees while you are at work or even for divorced parents who both want access to the data.

So, what to do once you discover your tween/teen IS being bullied?  Here is another great article that has some good advice:  What to do about an online bully
